Steven Tyler Accused Of Sexual Assault of a Minor

Steven Tyler has faced several accusations regarding his past, but none of them was as shocking as the one by Julia Holcomb. The duo has a past relationship that began when Holcomb was only 16 years old, which included an abortion and adoption, the adoption of the minor. Hence, Holcomb now sues Tyler for sexual assault, as reported by Rolling Stone.

According to the lawsuit, Julia Holcomb accuses Steven Tyler of not only sexual assault but also sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Though the case doesn’t directly mention Tyler’s name, it quotes from the singer’s memoir, where he wrote he ‘almost took a teen bride.’ Later in the book, he noted, “Her parents fell in love with me, signed a paper over for me to have custody, so I wouldn’t get arrested if I took her out of state. I took her on tour with me.”

Furthermore, Holcomb claimed in the suit that she wasn’t at an age to resist Tyler’s ‘power, fame, and substantial financial ability.’ In addition, she alleged that the Aerosmith frontman tricked her into believing that his intentions were romantic and that their relationship was a love affair, whereas their first introduction ended in a hotel room where Tyler ‘performed various acts of criminal sexual conduct upon.’

This isn’t the first time Julia Holcomb opened up about her past with Steven Tyler. In an article she wrote in 2011 for LifesiteNews, she detailed everything about her relationship with Tyler and revealed that it all started when she was only 16 and Steven Tyler was 25. Their affair began instantly and got to a point where Tyler became Holcomb’s legal guardian to save himself from any trouble while traveling together.
