Michigan QB Cade McNamara inks NIL deal with Tom Brady’s new apparel brand

The Wolverines’ Cade McNamara has inked an endorsement deal with “BRADY,” the future Hall of Fame quarterback’s namesake brand set to launch on Jan. 12, the company (and Brady himself) announced Thursday morning.

The clothing line plans to first launch online via the BRADY brand website, then expand to Nordstrom’s website a week later, on Jan. 19. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

McNamara is one of 10 high-profile college athletes tapped as “brand ambassadors,” joining a list that includes Jackson State quarterback Shedeur Sanders (the son of Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders), Coastal Carolina quarterback Grayson McCall and former Louisville catcher Henry Davis, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft.

Another University of Michigan student-athlete, tennis player Andrew Fenty, a three-time all-Big Ten selection and conference player of the year in 2020, is also on that list.
