Here's amazing footage of Kurt Cobain playing a surprise solo set in 1992.
Cobain and Courtney Love attended a triple bill of Sonic Youth, Pavement and Mudhoney in Castaic, California on September 26th, 1992. Cobain joined Mudhoney on-stage and then played a few songs by himself on acoustic guitar. The newly discovered footage from Shanye Stacy of Sacramento Music Archive is of a cover of early blues legend Leadbelly's "Where Did You Sleep Last Night," which Nirvana performed on MTV Unplugged.
