When he started as a minor league goaltender for the Adirondack Red Wings, he probably would've been ecstatic to know that in the future he would be a part of four Stanley Cup Championship teams, albeit, as a GM.
His deadline deals were legendary. He help build the greatest Detroit sports dynasty in my lifetime and because of that he will enter the Hockey Hall Of Fame as part of the Class Of 2020. Former Wing Marian Hossa will also enter the 'Hall'
Holland is currently the GM of the Edmonton Oilers but he will long be remembered here in Detroit.
