Witness Randy Rhoads' Greatness

When Ozzy's first solo album Blizzard Of Ozz came out, the immediate talk was about this new guitarist named Randy Rhoads. In my most humble opinion, the touring band, which included Rhoads, bassist Rudy Sarzo (both of whom came from Quiet Riot) and awesome drummer Tommy Aldridge, was the best band of the 80's metal era.

But Randy Rhoads, in particular, was the marquee attraction in this band. It is debatable who was the best rock guitarist at the time, Randy or Eddie Van Halen.

Had RR not perished in a 1982 plane crash, I feel he would have been as revered as Eddie.
