Detroit Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard is making his greatest save as he and his foundation have purchased $50,000 worth of N95 masks that will be donated to the Detroit Medical Center for those on the front lines fighting COVID-19, according to WXYZ-TV.
The masks have been purchased and are on their way.
“These healthcare workers are fighting the battle of their lives, on behalf of all of us,” Howard said. “They are heroes, and we’ve all got to do what we can to support them and thank them for their tireless work right now and in the weeks to come.”
