Actor Roger Moore Dead at 89

Roger Moore, who portrayed James Bond in seven films, has died at age 89. 

The actor played the famous spy in flicks like Live and Let Die and The Spy Who Loved Me

On Twitter, his family explained that Moore died after "a short but brave battle with cancer," adding that they are "devastated." 

Sir Roger, who was knighted in 2003, passed away in Switzerland. His children said, "The love with which he was surrounded in his final days was so great it cannot be quantified in words alone."

He is survived by his wife Kristina and his three children.
